Eight-week training for career counselors among marginalized women

This month, within the framework of the project Career Angels – An Innovative Career Development Model for Women at Social Risk, we start an eight-week training for career counselors (career angels) among marginalized women in North Macedonia. This training aims to improve the access for career development support of marginalized women in North Macedonia.

The training will be conducted according to the program developed in cooperation with Тhe Macedonian Association of counselors of career development (АSК), which aims to enable sustainable career development of marginalized women at social risk and to create continuous labor market integration of these women. The program is designed to provide a relevant response to the needs and contribute towards reducing unemployment rates among vulnerable and marginalized women (Roma and Albanian women from ethnic minorities, sex workers, transgender women, women drug users, women from rural areas, women migrants, single mothers, lesbians, bisexual women, women living with HIV, and women in poverty) in North Macedonia.

The training for career counselors (career angels) among marginalized women will be held in the months of February and March and will start on 15.02.2024 in the premises of CRC – Civic Resource Centre, with experienced trainers, career development experts from The Macedonian Association of counselors of career development (АSК).

Upon completion of the program, each participant will have the opportunity to acquire a certificate for successfully completed training and acquired knowledge for career development.
