Career angels – One step closer to attaining career goals by acquired fundamental career development skills

On April 9, 2024 (Tuesday) at the Civic Resource Center – CRC, we held the last workshop within the framework of the career counseling for women and we are truly proud of all participants who have successfully completed the eight-week career counseling training program – career angels.

It was a great pleasure for us to be honored with the presence of Chargé d’affaires Eric Meyer, together with other representatives of the US Embassy, on this important day for career angels. Chargé d’affaires Eric Meyer addressed the participants and other attendees and congratulated them on their successfully completed training program.

Upon the successful implementation of the career counseling program, the participants obtained certificates for a successfully completed training and acquired knowledge regarding career development. After spending 80 hours of training (both in theory and practice), the participants developed their skills, recognized their own interests and values, which they are to utilize further in achieving their career goals, as well as in the process of integrating into the labor market.

The participants go on to achieve their career goals, to contribute to society, to be a support system in the career path of other women, while doing what they love.

The training program was made up of 16 workshops for career development, which was carried out in cooperation with Macedonian Association of counselors of career development (АSК), and was designed with the purpose of helping the participating women to acquire skills for the realization of their own career goals and perspectives, while creating a space for the continuous integration of these women in the labor market.

This project was funded through a U.S. Embassy grant. The opinions, findings, and conclusions or recommendations expressed herein are those of the implementers/authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the U.S. Government.
