STAR – The First Sex Workers Collective in the Balkans, has organized a charity online auction “Action for Reaction” of donated works to help and support sex workers in crisis due to COVID-19 pandemic. The charity online event held from 02.06.2020 – 15.06.2020, was organized on the occasion of marking June 2 – The International Sex Workers Day, in order to raise funds that will be used to help and support sex workers and their families.
The charity online auction was organized online on the STAR Facebook profile: https://www.facebook.com/starsexwork/. At the charity auction, 19 authors / associations took part, and 15 people donated funds through bidding for their favorite works.

A total of 34,600 Macedonian denars were collected at the charity online auction “Action for Reaction”. The raised funds will be used to help and support sex workers and their families who are in an extremely difficult situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We thank all those who bid at the auction and donated to sex workers.
