The Women’s Rights March was held yesterday, marking March 8th under the slogan: You’re not to blame! Hundreds of activists, citizens, women, students, sex workers marched in the center of Skopje to support women victims of gender-based violence.
STAR – The first sex workers collective in the Balkans, as every year, joined the march wearing red umbrellas to support all women, including sex workers, regardless of their profession, sexual orientation and gender identity, for gender equality, equal rights, freedom and solidarity, and to end violence.
The Women’s Rights March started from Philip II Square, through Stone Bridge, Macedonia Square and ended at the Park of the Women, where a musical performance was performed to support women victims of violence.
