We are pleased to announce that STAR – The first Sex Workers collective in the Balkans is one of the winners of the Eurasian Key Populations Health Network Grants Programme with a project entitled “Enhanced Transgender-Specific HIV Programming in North Macedonia” in the frame of the V round “Gender & HIV” funding.
The project aims to initiate Transgender-Specific HIV Programme building within the frames of the National HlV Рrоgrаm by means of community involvement in the process of program building; to provide access to decision-making bodies and processes pertaining to HlV prevention and treatment fоr transgender sex workers and strengthening their capacity for negotiating involvement in those processes; and to ensure active community engagement in the implementation of the National HlV Рrоtосоl.
