We were stricken by utmost grief upon receiving the news of the loss of our cofounder, activist and coworker Maja Lazoska.
Her passing was premature, sudden, and unexpected, rendering all of us in profound sorrow and disbelief.
Ever since 2011, Maja Lazoska has been one of STAR’s cofounders and its Deputy President. Solidarity with all of those who defy marginalization is the value that Maja brought into STAR way back in 2010. That same value, we will go on to relish.
Maja, we will go on to live our common life challenges.
Your absence will most surely not be unnoticed.
