From 11.05-13.05.2023, in Porto, Portugal, the first training on capacity building of trans sex workers, with a focus on HIV advocacy and sex workers’ rights was held in coordination with the European Sex Workers Rights Alliance – ESWA.
This training, in which about 15 transgender sex workers from Europe took part, including a representative of STAR-STAR, aimed to strengthen the capacities of transgender sex workers to fight for their rights and participation in discussions on issues relating to sex work, HIV and trans communities needs.
